  • Town Church of Annweiler

The protestant church was built before 1153. In the year 1944 it got lastly destroyed, so the architecture and constructions are to date from 1952. Especially the stained glass and the tower, which was build back in 1318 remainded unchanged and are worth visiting.

  •  Cistercian Church - Eusserthal

The Cistercian abbey church of St. Bernhard is one of the most valuable structures in the Palatinate dating from the 13th century.

  • Protestant Parish Church - Rinnthal

Located right in the heart of the village, the Protestant parish church with its imposing column portal was erected in 1831 - 1834 in the pure classical  style. The construction project received the personal support of the bavarian king, Ludwig I. Old drifting installations chronicle the history of wood rafting in the Palatinate Forest.

  • Chapel of our Lady - Annweiler

The chapel was inaugurated in 1429 and so, it is the oldest building in town. It is decorated with Gothic mural paintings which had been forgotten for centuries. It was only 1930 when they got found. Since then they have gotten exposed and carefully restored. The chapel is only open at certain dates (monument open day) but upon prior reservation by the "Museum unterm Trifels" you may visit it as well.
