Gossersweiler-Stein - Pure nature in the Palatinate forest

The village Gossersweiler-Stein consits of 1546 inhabitants and is placed in the centre of the Gossersweiler valley, which is more likely a plateau (circa. 300 meters above sea level).

The landscape is characterized by woods, meadows, red sandstone rocks and surrounding chastles. There are well-marked hiking -and Nordic-Walking paths. The riding farm isn't just attraction to children.

The officially recognized health resort is an ideal starting point for hikes and excursions because it is just a short distance to Bad Bergzabern with it's "Suedpfalztherme", Annweiler at the Trifels or Alsace. Celebration is also capitalised. Many music events can be visited at the "Berglandhalle" throughout the year. On the third weekend of September the "Hawwerflichelkerwe" takes place. "Hawwerflichel" is dialect for cereals.

Gossersweiler-Stein is well-prepared for holiday-makers because of it's many holiday homes, rent rooms and restaurants. It invites you to relax and rest while surrounded by kindly people. A lot of local clubs and societies invite you to take a part and join.
